Entities
ComingAn entity keeps its own memory server-side, so your code sends the new message instead of re-uploading the conversation and history is never billed twice. The Entities API is not open yet, and there is nothing extra to pay for stored memory when it is.

Common questions
- How am I charged?
- Per request, at the rate above, quoted in dollars per million tokens. You add funds up front and your balance is drawn down as you use the API — there is no subscription and no minimum.
- Is there a subscription?
- No. Nothing here renews and there is nothing to cancel. You add funds when you want more, one payment at a time.
- Does my balance expire?
- No. Funds you have added stay yours and are never reduced or reclaimed.
- Which models can I call?
- The models we train ourselves. The current release is mgpt-1-27b; new ones are listed on the Models page as they ship. If you hold a key that was already calling one of the older ids, that id keeps working — it is no longer advertised, not switched off.
- What is the Entities API?
- A new kind of API designed to hold persistent state. Instead of re-sending a transcript every turn, an entity keeps its memory with the model that formed it — you send the new message and nothing else, and cost stays close to flat.
- Do I have to change my code?
- Only the base URL and the key. Existing SDKs, agent harnesses and tool-calling code keep working — the API speaks the dialect your tools already expect.
- Can I get a refund?
- An unused balance can be refunded within the window set out in our refund policy. Write to us and we will sort it out.
